Document Description
The objective of this project is to address the potential discharge of nitrogen into the underlying groundwater related to the current solids handling facilities. A dewater sludge storage and staging concrete pad with drain system of sufficient size to store one year of sludge accumulation at 2.5 MGD will be included. The expansion of the WWTP will include the following: a). Construction to filtrate pump station and piping. b). Reconstruct plant water delivery pump system. c). Addition of concrete sludge staging area and elimination of sludge drying beds. d). Installation of sludge dewatering press and construction of dewatering shade area. e). Conversation of existing administration building into operation control building. f). Installation of a pre-engineered building as new administration building.
