Document Description
The Allan Hancock College Bike Path Extension will be ~1.0 miles long, beginning ~800 ft north of the "H" Street/Santa Ynez River bridge. The southern portion of the proposed bike path alignment will follow existing unpaved roads, re-routing farm use from an existing access road to a secondary unpaved agricultural road on the Lompoc Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) property. From the point of beginning, the bike path will head west for about 50 ft, turn north, parallel to Highway 1, then turn west along the northern boundary of the Lompoc FCC agricultural fields, then turn northwest to the Lompoc FCC boundary. The alignment will then turn east and northeast, crossing onto the City of Lompoc's Ken Adam Park property and ending at the south terminus of Hancock Drive.
