Document Description
Thr project site is located in Igo at the Northern California Veteran's Cemetery. The California Department of Veterans Affairs (CDVA) will provide a ground lease to a private party to build a 2,200 square foot reflection center building on the grounds of the Northern Claifornia Veterans Cemetery. The reflection center will be built near the existing ceremonial area. No new access roads or parking will be required.

Categorical Exemptions Class 1, Section 15301 Existing Facilities allows continued operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment or topographical features involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond the existing at the time of the lead agency's determination. This includes additions to existing structures provided that the addition will not result in an increase of more that: 50 percent of the floor area of the structures before the addition, or 2,500 square feet, whichever is less. This project is exempt because it will add a refection center building of 2,200 square feet.
