Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of acquistion of land for fish and wildlife conservation proposes. The lands will become part of the Sunny Brae Forest and be managed as a sustainable forest that includes protection for riparian and other sensitive areas and associated wildlife. The acquisition will promote puble access to the Sunny Brae forest and maintain the lands in their natural state. The proposed acquistion will rezone the property from a residential status to Public Facility (Natural Resources).
