Document Description
The project consists of the abandonment of 8 inactive, water production and groundwater monitoring wells located throughtout Anaheim. Standard procedures for well abandonment will be followed which includes destroying the existing internal well steel casing, permanently sealing and capping the wells, and removing any associated aboveground piping and electrical panels. The well will be permanently closed and capped as a safeguard to prevent potential surface contaminants from entering the groundwater system.
