Document Description
The Solano County Department of Resource Management and California Regional Water Quality Control Board have requested the City to remediate the soil and groundwater contamination present at the Site to minimize the risk to groundwater resources. An updated corrective action plan (CAP) was prepared for the Site and proposed to use in-situ chemical oxidation to destroy a major portion of the subsurface contamination. Bench testing of the contaminated soil and groundwater is proposed to ensure proper dosing of chemical oxidizer and to minimize the possible formation of secondary chemical and metals in groundwater that could worsen groundwater quality.
