1. Restoration of Agricultural Preserve Alteration 04AP-10 to adjust the coundary of Agricultural Preserve 70-7 (in order to math the existing parcel boundary of Assessor's parcel Number 63-140-11) by the addition of 37.4 +- acres of Assessor's Parcel Number 63-140-11 adn the removal of a 9.9+- acre portion of Assessor's Parcel Number 63-140-13. 2. Ordinance for Zone Change 04-RZ-125 to rezone a 305.9+- acre project site from A-10(General Agricultural, ten acre minimum) and AE-37 (exclusive Agricultural. thirty-seven scre minimum) to AE-37:Ap (Exclusive Agricultural, thrity-seven acre minimum; Agricultural Preserve Combining) under Title 17 of the Tuolumne County Ordinance Code; and 3. Application for Williamson Act Contract 04WA-113 to rescind an existing contract under Resolution 122-70 applicable to 268.5+- acres and enter into a new land conservation contract for the entire 305.9+- acre sute pursuant to Tuolumne County Resolution 106-04, including approval of the Agricultural Management Plan.

Reasons for Exemption
After reviewing the project and its setting, the Environemtnal Coordinator for the County of Tuolumne has determined that the project is categorically exempt from review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), pursuant to Section 15317 of the State CEQA Guidelines becasue the project consists of entering into a land conservation contract under the terms of the Williamson Act. The Zone Change portion of the project is required pursuant to Tuolumne County Resolution 106-04, in order to enter into a land conservation contract and implement the contract through zoning. The agricultural preserve alteration is required by the Governemnt Code in order to enter into the land conservation contract. Therefore, the zone change and agricultural preserve alteration are also exempt from environmental review pursuant to Section 15317 of the State CEQA Guidelines.
