Document Description
This proposed project involves the repair of no more than 15 erosion sites per year. Construction activities will take place at individual sites from May 1 to October 1 during the 5-year term of the Program. Each site will require no more than 4 weeks of active construction, not including revegetation (e.g., planting of emergent vegetation). Project will result in impacts to 14.64 acres of Giant garter snake (Thamnophis gigas) (GGS) habitat including temporary impacts to 10.5 acres; the project will permanently modify 4.14 acres of GGS habitat. The project is expected to result in incidental take of GGS, which is designated as a threatened species under CESA. The ITP referenced above as issued by CDFW authorizes incidental take of one species (GGS) listed under CESA that may occur as a result of project implementation.
