The initial focus (Phase 1) of the SERP approximately 306 miles of levees and represents an initial 5-year effort. After the Phase 1 implementation period, the Interagency Flood Management Collaborative Program Group (Interagency Collaborative Group) intends to evaluate the program's success and, if warranted, the SERP may be expanded in the future to include sites repaired by the local maintaining agencies throughout the Sacramento-San Joaquin drainage district.
