Document Description
The SCTC, as the Regional Transportation Planning Agency (RTPA), is required by California law to adopt and submit an updated Regional Transportation Plan to the California Transportation Commission (CTC) and to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) every 5 yrs. The purpose of the RTP is to provide a vision of transportion facilities and services for the region, supported by transportation goals, for 10 and 20 year horizons.
