Document Description
Approval of Permit No. 19732, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To authorize installation of twenty four (24) new power poles (10 steel & 14 wood poles) along the landside portion of the Garden Hwy, remove forty one (41) existing wooden poles from the landside and waterside portion of the Garden Highway levee, replace-in-place two (2) existing poles (1 steel & 1 wood poles) from the landside portion of the Garden Highway, and three (3) poles (2 wood and 1 steel pole) are to remain on the landside portion of the Garden Highway. The new utility pole line will be installed and then the existing poles will be topped, and the electrical overhead lines will be removed. The bottom portion of the existing pole along with the communication utilities will remain until they are relocated. This utility relocation project is required for the Natomas Basin Civil Works Project.
