Document Description
The extension of Shafter's existing water service to the east side of SR 99 in order to provide domestic water service to existing commercial developments located within Shafter on the east side of the highway. The project will include the installation of ~3,000 linear ft of 16 inch diameter water line and two, 2 inch diameter conduits for future installation of optical diber cables from the west side of Zerker Road, east through a 28 inch diameter steel casing pipe placed within a boring under the Union Pacific railroad tracks and SR 99, north along an existing dirt farm road and vacant commercial property to the south side od Lerdo Highway, and east along the south side of Lerdo Highway ~600 ft. Public utility easement(s) ~30 ft wide will be obtained for the project alignment.
