Present Land Use
The project site is currently designated as Mixed-Use Urban (40 du/acre) in the City's General Plan and zoned Commercial with Urban Design and Mixed Use Overlay Zones.
The project proposes a specific plan to allow for the development of a mixed-use urban village, including a combination of up to 416 multi-family residential units, 61,000 sf of commercial or neighborhood-serving retail, 146,000 sf of commercial office space, and 146,000 sf of hotel use (500 rooms). The project is comprised of three planning areas: Ballimore Drive, Spring Street, and University Avenue.
