Document Description
EMWD has 4 Regional Water Reclamation Facilities that collect municipal sewage (wastewater). One of these is the San Jacinto Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SJVRWRF). The SJVRWRF is currently operating near its rated capacity. The SJVRWRF approved expansion project is anticipated to begin construction in early 2010 but will not be completed until 2014/2015. During expansion construction, it will be necessary to divert wastewater flow from the SJVRWRF to the Perris Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (PVRWRF).
