Document Description
NOTE: Reference SCH#1996022061 The Airport Master Plan for Hanford Municipal Airport is principally a facility plan. It provides guidance on how to accommodate forecast growth in activity by both based on transient aircraft. It also presents policies that must be implemented to permit continued functioning of the airport. These policies include protection of airspace surrounding the airport and exclusion of incompatible land uses. The Federal Aviation Administration recommends that airport master plans be updated every 7 to 10 years or when major changes to an airport's role are anticipated. This master plan updates the preceding master plan which was adopted in 1993.
