Document Description
The proposed Project is located in the Sierra Nevada foothills in central Tuolumne County. The Federal Highway Administration is proposing to conduct road improvements to CA 191 (Buchannan Road) and CA 190 (Fish Hatchery Road). The Project consists of a minor realignment to 2.5 miles of Buchanan Road from Carter Street east to Buchanan Mine Road Bridge. Fish Hatchery Road will be resurfaced and rehabilitated east of Buchannan Minor Road Bridge for a distance of 1.9 miles. The proposed project also includes the replacement of the Buchannan Mine Road Bridge, which crosses the North Fork Tuolumne River on Buchanan Road, with a new bridge adjacent to the existing bridge.
