The Montgomery Estates Area 1 Project goal is to improve water quality by capturing, conveying and treating storm water run-off and by stabilizing eroding slopes and roadside ditches. In addition, the County will implement detention basins for storm water attenuation and treatment. This project is indentified in federal and regional planning documents and is considered a benefit to the Lake Tahoe environment.
