Stanislaus County Department of Public Works proposes to widen ~3,600 linear ft of McHenry Avenue. The Project starts 2,634 ft north of Ladd Road and extends to 665 ft north of Hogue Road. The project involves the construction of 5 lanes, 4 traveled lanes and 1 continuous left turn/median lane. Stewart Road will be improved 85 ft west of the intersection with McHenry Avenue, and Hogue Road will be imprved 235 ft east of the intersection with McHenry Avenue. The improvements will conform to the existing pavement at Stewart and Hogue Roads. Right of way will be acquired to allow for expansion to 5 traveled lanes and existing trees in the right of way will be removed. Existing utility poles will be relocated as necessary to accommodate the road widening.
