Document Description
Roseville Joint Union High School District RJUHSD proposes to develop six new tennis courts as part of phase II construction for the West Park High School Project. The Proposed Project would be constructed at 2401 Panther Place, Roseville, California, on the existing campus. The project site encompasses approximately 1.3 acres of the 52.85-acre school property. The site consists of an empty grass field. The proposed tennis courts would be adjacent to the existing baseball field, to the west, the new aquatic center, to the south, and the student pick-up and drop-off loop and 47-space staff parking lot, to the east. Existing Building B is northeast of the site and is adjacent to the student pick-up and drop-off loop. Immediately along the southeast boundary of the site is a residential neighborhood. The tennis courts would be in the southern portion of the 52.85-acre school site. Access to the tennis courts would be from an existing walkway on the western and northern boundary. The Proposed Project would include construction activities, such as limited grading, excavation, installation of fencing and gates, and surface material. A drain line will require relocation. A 10-foot-tall and 15-foot-tall, galvanized chain link fence would be installed around the entire perimeter of the tennis courts. An entrance/exit gate would be located along western fence line, adjacent to the pedestrian walkway. A 6-foot-tall, galvanized chain link fence as well as a 6-foot-tall wood fence would remain along the property line adjacent to the single-family residential homes. Bike racks would be installed on the east side of the project site between the student pick-up and drop-off loop and tennis courts. A lighting system will not be included.
