Document Description
Conditional Use Permit Application No. C-09-158 requests authorization to construct a water storage and treatment facility (T-3 Facility). The City intends to operate the southeast surface water treatment component of the T-3 Facility for the next 10 yrs, during which time a new, larger southeast surface water treatment plant (SWTP) will be constructed at a different site. After the permanent southeast SWTP is operational, the T-3 treatment plant will be decommissioned and the treatment equipment either removed from the site or abandoned place. The water storage and pumping components of the T-3 Facility are permanent and will remain in operation after the southeast SWTP is constructed.
