Document Description
NOTE: Reference SCH #2000011083 & 2005111115 The proposed "project" is an amendment to the Redevelopment Plan for the Claremont Consolidated Project (2009 Amendment). The 2009 Amendment proposes to extend the Agency's authority to use the power of eminent domain, if necessary and as a last resort, to acquire property within the Consolidated Project Area with the exception of properties that are legally occupied as a residence. Redevelopment Law Section 33333.2.(a)(4) states that there is a time limit, not to exceed 12 years from the adoption of the redevelopment plan, for commencement of eminent domain proceedings to acquire property within the project areas.
