The project will re-vegetate the streambank to improve habitat for amphibians and fish by planting mature riparian plants; stabilize above Ellis Creek; install a Western pond turtle basking platform/ and install new fencing to protect riparian areas from cattle. Also, because teh restoration will be conducted by Student volunteers using hand tools, the project will not have a significant or cumulative contribution to greenhouse gas emissions.
