Document Description
Soil erosion control and native plant restoration around the area of the Sacramento Headwaters in Mt. Shasta City Park. Several diseased trees may also be removed. To stabilize down slope movement of sediment, the spring wall itself and slope above the spring will be armored with natural rock and planted with native riparian vegetation to prevent further erosion. Environment-appropriate fencing and signage will be installed to prevent pedestrian traffic on steep slopes.
