Document Description
This project will drill 2 test wells in an attempt to locate non-potable water for the Grand Prix (GP) track. Site #1 is located adjacent to Cienega Road southeast of the GP track. Site #2 is located just off the GP track at the southern most turn. The wells will be 8" in diameter and 80-100' deep. The equipment used will be a truck-mounted drill. If water is located, the test well will be cased and tested. During drilling operations, drill spoils will be contained with hay bales and/or a Best Management Practices such that the spoils will not exit the project location. A contract hydrologist has assessed the sites and determined them to be viable locations for test drilling.
