Document Description
The purpose of this activity is to allocate $25 million in federal funds available to the California Energy Commission pursuant to the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) and the Public Resources Code sections 25460-25463 to augment funding for loans under the California Energy Commission's ECAA loan program. The ECAA loan program provides low-interest loans for energy efficiency and renewable energy retrofit projects for cities, counties, special districts, public schools and colleges, public hospitals, and public care institutions. The California Energy Commission and participants of the ECAA loan program benefit from the allocation of ARRA funds to the ECAA loan program.
