Licensee filed Petitions to Change Water Rights Licenses 11989 and 13408 on May 21, 2009. The petition to change License 11989 seeks to add diversion to offstream storage to the existing direct division right for frost protection to diversion to offstream storage. Approval of the petitions will collectively; (1) authorize a total of 51 acre-feet of storage in an offstream pit type reservoir; and (2) result in a net decrease in the direct diversion rate from the source because application of water will occur from the offstream reservoir rather than from direct application from the source.
