Document Description
The North Hollywood Alleys Retrofit BMP Demonstration Project will retrofit 4 existing alleys in the North Hollywood area. Currently, the alleys are paved with asphalt concrete with a concrete gutter in the center, which has deteriorated over the years. Due to the deterioration, water ponding has been causing significant problems with mosquito breeding in stagnant water. The alleys will be reconstructed with asphalt concrete pavement and a pavement concrete center gutter. Installation of 6 new catch basin inlet structures will capture stormwater runoff in the area.
