Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency repair of two damaged steel girders on the northbound bridge that occurred on August 27, 2009 due to a high load hit on bridge #29-0142 on State Route 26/99. The proposal is to heat straighten these two girders and then repain them. The existing paint must be removed and there is potential for lead in the paint therefore a worker health and safety plan is required.
