Document Description
Santa Monica Baykeeper (SMBK) in coordination with the City of Culver City Public Works Department and the Los Angeles County Public Works Department proposes to install four LID rain infiltration gardens in the Los Angeles flood control right-of-way along Ballona Creek. The rain gardens will receive runoff from commercial / industrial development and residential development in Culver City. The rain gardens will be designed to capture, treat, and infiltrate stormwater runoff from a rain event. Additionally, the LID gardens will be fitted with both inlet and outlet filters that treat for metals, trash, nutrients, and hydrocarbons.
