Document Description
The variance allows DuPont to continue a groundwater monitoring program with less frequent sampling and a reduced scope of monitoring points compared to what is otherwise required by regulations at its facility at 6000 Bridgehead Road, Oakley, California (the Facility). Specifically, the variance allows DuPont to 1) conduct semi-annual rather than qarterly sampling at all current post closure care monitoring points established under Article 6 (Cal. Code Regs. tit 22, art. 6, section 66265.99(e)(3), Water Quality Monitoring); and 2) limit annual Appendix IX (Cal Code Regs. tit 22. section 66265.99(e)(6), Appendix IX) groundwater sampling to the designated group of point of compliance (POC) wells, rather than at all Article 6 monitoring points.
