Document Description
A fish die-off has been reported to occur in the seasonally closed lagoon at Pescadero State Park nearly every year since it was first reported to occur in 1995. The fish kill occurs during and shortly after breaching of the sandbar at the mouth when an acute drop in water quality occurs, which is presumed to be the cause of the fish mortality.
