The proposed project includes two locations along Highway 20 at post mile (PM) 9.4 and PM 15.1 in Mendocino County. The purposes and objectives of the project are to repair and replace the eastbound highway fill slope and culvert to protect the roadway from erosion related structural failures. The proposed construction activities will consist of: replacing culverts; installing a new drop inlet vault; grading drainage ditches; installing underdrains; replacing a culvert; extending the outlet downslope protection (RSP); and conducting slope revegetation and erosion control.
