Document Description
Re-route approximately 3000' of the existing Pioneer Express trail because of health and safety issues and high erosion. The new construction will be accomplished using a SWECO trail cat and hand crews from DPR and CCC. The new re-route will be constructed above the existing trail and will cross six unnamed seasonal drainages. Starting from the North, Crossing No.1 will require a 20' stringer bridge. Adjacent to this is Crossing No.2, which will require a 30' stringer bridge. About 300 feet south is the location of the third bridge, which will be approximately 40' in length. Furhter to the south, the trail will cross three seasonal drainages where rock swales will be constructed to protect the crossings from erosion and impacts from trail use.
