Document Description
This project intends to create a shaded fuel break by reducing hazardous fuels along the paved road section leading into Rancho Corte Madera in the Pine Valley area of San Diego County. The fuel break serves two functions: 1) providing a safe ingress/egress for residents and firefighters and 2) providing a strategic area for fire suppression activities. The work area, located directly adjacent to the road, is approximately four (4) miles long and extends one hundred (100) feet on both sides of the road.
