Document Description
The project consists of the construction of a new water well drilled to a depth of approximately 350-feet to replace an existing well currently exceeding the maximum contaminant level for uranium. The existing well will be maintained for irrigation uses only. In addition to the well, the school district will be installing one 7,000-gallon bolted steel water storage tank, one 1,250-gallon pressure tank, two booster pumps, piping to connect the new well to the existing distribution system, and associated appurtenances. The well and booster pumps will be enclosed within a secure wood structure with a removable roof for maintenance access.

All construction activities will occur within the ground of the South Fork Elementary School and will involve negligible or no expansion of current capacity.
