Document Description
The purpose of 2009 appliance efficiency regulations rulemaking is to consider energy efficiency standards for active mode, standby mode, power factor, luminance control, and energy consumption disclosure and/or labeling, on a statewide basis for televisions with a screen area less than or equal to 1,400 sq. inches in area. To adopt the IEC 62087 Ed 2 and IEC 62301 Ed 1 test procedures for testing television energy consumption in active mode and standby mode published by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
