Approval of a Mining Permit, Use Permit and Reclamation Plan to allow the phased mining and reclamation of a 500-acre site on two parcels located in south central Butte County. The project permits the open-pit extraction of aggregate material from the project site and transport via an existing private haul road to a currently operating processing facility on Pacific Heights Road. Total production will be approximately 30,000,000 tons over the 50-year life of the mining operation. Reclamation of prime farmland and open space including a lake with associated habitat will occur during the operation and at the end of mining.
