- The selected Alternative Project consists of reconstruction, widening and realignment of three segments of Wildwood Road: Segment 1 from Post Mile (PM) 11.6 to PM 9.7; Segment 2 from PM 9.7 to PM 7.0; and Segment 3 from PM 7.0 to 5.0. The County will: Widen to two travel lanes with shoulders and curve widening; realign tight radius curves; and place retaining walls and guardrails at appropriate locations. The design will meet the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Guidelines for Geometric Design of Very Low Volume Local Roads. Periodic, extensive daytime road closures will occur during construction.
