This is an application to the Shasta County Air Quality Management District for an Authority to Construct, and subsequent Air Operating Permit for a modification to an existing permitted combined-cycle gas turbine electrical generation unit. The Authority to Construct would allow the generating unit to combust additional natural gas, above what is currently permitted, and generate additional electricity. This would be accomplished by the installation of a turbine vendor upgrade package which increases the efficiency of the existing turbine. Minor permit language changes are also requested.
