Document Description
The City intends to upgrade its water distribution system through the following proposed actions: Site A (Greger Street): Site A consists of an ~2.08 acre parcel, located on the north side of Greger Street, west of Kaufman Road. Site A would contain a new 0.6 MG prestressed concrete water storage tank. To supplement the distribution, a booster pumping station and standby generator would be installed. Site B (Valley View Drive): Site B encompasses ~2 acres of a 15.2 acre parcel, located at the north end of Valley View Drive along the southern edge of Stanislaus River. Site B contains an existing 0.5 MG welded steel water storage tank, and an older, out-of-service concrete tank. The existing 0.5 MG welded steel water storage tank and out-of-service concrete tank would be demolished. A new 0.6 MG prestressed concrete water storage tank would be constructed and brought into service to provide continuous operation. Disconnection of Well #3 from the older, out-of-service, concrete tank is also proposed. The proposed prestressed concrete water storage tanks would be constructed 43 ft in height and 51 ft in diameter.
