The project is an update to the General Plan Housing Element. The 2007-2014 Housing Element addresses housing issues and policies in the Town of Truckee. It includes an assessment of the previous Housing Element; a profile of characteristics of existing and projected population, employment, and housing stock; a housing needs analysis; a discussion of housing constraints; an analysis and inventory of residential land resources; quantified objectives for housing; guiding principles; and goals, policies, programs, and implementation. The 2007-2014 Housing Element will apply town-wide.
