Document Description
NOTE: Review Per Lead The project includes the creation of new creek setback requirements through an ordinance. The ordinance would provide defined creek setback standards for new development near creeks in the City of Pleasant Hill. The ordinance would establish setbacks near creeks based on the depth of creek and type of structure proposed. The ordinance would not apply to legally built existing structures, but would apply to new development except for structures that are temporary, landscaping, openwork fences, flatwork, and properties that are adjacent to concrete channel owned by, or located in an easement to, another public agency. The ordinance would also establish submittal requirements, exemptions and an exception process.
