Document Description
(1) continued treatment of wastewater from both the City of Pinole and the City of Hercules at the existing plant, various upgrades to the plant, construction of a new treated effluent conveyance pipeline to the Rodeo Sanitary District (RSD), and relocation of the City of Pinole corporation yard; and (2) treatment of wastewater only from the City of Pinole at the existing plant, and a smaller suite of improvements to the existing plant consisting primarily of installation of an underground flow equalization tank. Under Option 2, a new treated effluent conveyance pipeline to RSD would not be constructed, and the City of Pinole corporated yard would not be relocated. The City of Pinole, as the Lead Agency, has decided to adopt Option 2 as the project that will be implemented.
