K2 PURE SOLUTIONS NOCAL, LP and affiliated companies propose to build and operate an industrial manufacturing facility on noncontiguous areas of land within the existing site owned by the Dow Chemical Company in the City of Pittsburg, Contra Costa County, CA. The Project site, totaling 12.96 acres, consists of portions of 2 parcels: 073-220-029 & 073-220-030. The Applicant would lease the proposed Project site from Dow. The 2 manufacturing plants would include one (leased and used by Dow) for the production of electrochemical units (ECUs) and one (owned and operated by the Applicant) to produce bleach.
