Approval of Permit No. 18956-8, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To construct a high-speed rail (HSR) viaduct, 2,500 feet in length, that will span 30 feet over Cross Creek from HSR station “S2” 2534+70.77 to “S2” 2559+71.37 and west of State Route 43; embankment fill approaches from the north and south; drainage culverts; and erosion protection within the floodway. The work within or over the Cross Creek channel includes grading for access and final subgrade; installing cast-in-drilled-hole (CIDH) piles; form, place and strip concrete columns; installing bent cap falsework, form, place and strip bent caps and diaphrams; place precast deck panels; place and finish concrete deck and derailment barriers; placing concrete apron in the creek bottom and rock slope protection.
