Document Description
Project proposes to construct a High Speed Rail (HSR) structure over E. North and S. Cedar Avenues, SR 99, and the southbound on-ramp from S. Cedar Ave. The proposed HSR alignment is planned to cross over SR99 on a concrete arch and cross the SB on-ramp on a concrete viaduct with bridge bents located off the right shoulders and in the median. Once construction is complete, the viaduct will span the travelled way and will not adversely affect the existing SR 99 configuration. The viaducts super and sub structure will be permanent encroachments on Caltrans right of way. The HSR bridge over SR99 is planned to span the current width of the roadways.
