The existing structure is identified on the City's Historic Resources Inventory as "E" for an "Exceptional" historic rated building. The existing dwelling is 1,577 sf, two-story and includes a detached two-car garage. The lot is ~5,000 sf and has street frontage on both Ocean Way and Pearl Street. The project includes 1)a 43 sf addition to the existing historic structure and 2) construction of a new detached residence that is ~1,600 sf with an attached two-car garage.
