Document Description
LAFCOs approval of the SOI/SOS in 2002 and concurrent Memorandum of Agreement executed between the City and County recognized that lands within spheres are intended to accommodate growth and establish urban development standards within a 20-year planning horizon. Specific to the Price Canyon Area, LAFCO identified several critical resource and infrastructure needs. Principal among them were water supply, wastewater capacity and circulation/roads, especially related to the Highway 101 corridor and Price Canyon Road.
The Price Canyon Planning Area General Plan Update has the opportunity to implement the City's planning objectives, not only within the Planning Area, but Citywide.
