Document Description
The District in cooperation with the City of Poway, intends to renovate the existing upper athletic field located in the southwestern quadrant of the Meadowbrook Middle School site. The renovation is intended to upgrade the upper athletic field for purposes of reducing water and maintenance costs, and to allow for an increase in the yearly frequency of use of the upper athletic field for youth sports purposes. The project would include replacing natural grass turf with synthetic turf. The synthetic turf would be lined with a regulation size field, and 2 smaller practice fields located within its boundaries. Two light poles would be added for a total of 6 to provide more optimal field illumination.
