Document Description
The proposed project will involve the installation of modular classrooms and other improvements to the existing Frank Vessels Elementary School campus. These additional classrooms and other improvements will enable the CYPSD to consolidate the enrollment from the nearby Elizabeth Dickerson Elementary School (which is closing) with that of the Frank Vessels Elementary School. The proposed improvements will expand the number of classrooms from the original 19 classrooms to 33 classrooms (this figure includes daycare and pre-K classrooms). The maximum worse case build-out enrollment is projected to be 857 students including K-6 grade and pre-school and daycare programs at maximum legal class-sizes.
